Search Engine Optimisation to Search Everywhere Optimisation. Search has changed. Google, AI assistants, voice, maps – your customers are finding brands across more surfaces than ever.
Zib builds visibility across all of them.
The key ingredients to effective SEO
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is not simple. It requires continuous effort, ongoing analysis, and adaptation to ever-changing algorithms. As a specialist SEO company we’ve built a team of specialists capable of providing a complex mix of technical, content, and off-page strategies to help your business achieve significant and sustainable results.
Audience & keyword intelligence
Deep research into what your audience asks, how they phrase it, and which intent signals convert into sales across search engines and AI platforms.
Our SEO agency specialists perform detailed keyword research and search techniques in order to figure out what your audience is looking for and to identify keywords that will deliver the right traffic to your website.
Creating engaging content
Zib’s SEO specialist copywriters play a crucial role in creating website content that is both engaging and reliable.
The content is designed to satisfy search intent and earn AI citations. Structured, credible, and built around entities not just keywords.
AI discoverability (GEO)
As search behaviour rapidly shifts towards AI-powered discovery through platforms like ChatGPT, Google Gemini and voice search, businesses need more than traditional SEO to stay visible.
We optimise your website for AI engines. Schema markup, entity clarity, and citation signals that help AI platforms surface and recommend your brand.
Technical foundation
A technically strong website helps search engines and AI platforms properly understand, index, and trust your business online.
We optimise the behind-the-scenes performance of your website to improve user experience, reduce friction, and create a stronger foundation for rankings, visibility and long-term digital growth.
Making you easier to find
We help grow your brand’s online credibility by building high-quality authority signals that increase trust, visibility and relevance in your market.
From media exposure and industry mentions to strategic link building and local citations, we focus on the signals that influence both traditional search rankings and AI-generated recommendations.
Continual optimisation
As an advanced SEO agency we know that SEO is not a set-and-forget solution. Continual analysis and improvement are vital in adapting to algorithm changes and uncovering opportunities.
Search engines and AI platforms are constantly changing, which means SEO is never a one-time project.
Sharing insights & identifying opportunities
Our meetings together are not just about results. The measure of success is sales, and we’re there to uncover what we can do to drive more. We focus on offering additional value around your industry, your competitors, and opportunities to grow.
Our clients love the access to their reporting dashboard where you can see live results for your entire digital ecosystem through one platform. This dashboard is personalised to provide you the metrics you would like to track at a glance, but dive deep into the data should you wish.

Real depth requires a whole team, not just one person wearing every hat
Search Everywhere Optimisation isn’t one job. It’s the intersection of technical infrastructure, content strategy, AI discoverability, digital PR, and conversion thinking — each demanding focused expertise to execute properly. A single generalist, however talented, can’t hold all of it at once.
Zib is built differently. We’ve assembled a team of dedicated specialists, each owning a distinct discipline.
As the search landscape evolves you need people who are ahead of the change, not catching up to it.
Questions we get, answered straight
Whether you’re new to SEO or evaluating your current approach, here are the questions we hear most including the ones about how AI is changing everything.
Is SEO still worth investing in now that AI is changing search?
Yes, and arguably more than ever. The foundations of SEO (authoritative content, technical credibility, strong site structure) are exactly what AI platforms use to decide which sources to cite and surface. Good SEO is the bedrock that GEO and AI visibility are built on. The difference now is that ranking on page one of Google is no longer the only goal. Your content also needs to be structured and credible enough to be cited in AI Overviews, recommended by ChatGPT, and surfaced across voice and answer engines. A well-executed SEO strategy handles all of it.
My business ranks well on Google. Do I still need to think about AI search?
Yes. AI Overviews now appear for the vast majority of informational searches and when they do, they reduce traditional click-through rates significantly. You can rank in position one and still have fewer visitors than before, because users get answers directly from the AI result without clicking through. The good news is that brands with strong organic rankings have a significant head start for AI citation but it’s not automatic. Content needs to be structured correctly, with clear answers, entity signals, and the kind of authority that AI platforms trust. That’s a layer of optimisation beyond traditional ranking work.
How long does it take to see results from SEO?
SEO results are not instant, and any agency promising otherwise should be approached with caution. In our experience, early ranking movements typically become visible within the first three months. Meaningful traffic growth and conversion impact usually begin to compound between six and twelve months. The trajectory is exponential, not linear meaning the longer a well-executed strategy runs, the greater the returns. SEO is one of the highest-ROI digital channels precisely because those gains are durable, not dependent on ongoing ad spend.
Can you guarantee rankings or results?
No, and we’d encourage you to be wary of any agency that claims otherwise. Google doesn’t allow it, and no agency has full control over algorithm changes, competitor behaviour, or market shifts. What we can guarantee is the quality and consistency of our work, and our commitment to adapting strategy as conditions change. What we do offer is transparency: a shared workbook documenting our full strategy and activity, monthly reporting meetings focused on commercial outcomes, and access to a live 24/7 dashboard so you always know what’s happening and why.
What makes Zib different from other SEO agencies?
Two things stand out consistently in what our clients tell us: transparency and adaptability. We document everything- your full strategy, every project, and weekly activity in a shared workbook. There’s no mystique about what we’re doing or why. You have full visibility at all times. The second difference is that we treat SEO and AI visibility as a unified service. Most agencies still offer SEO and GEO as separate products. We believe that’s the wrong way to think about it. The signals that build Google authority are the same signals that earn AI citations. Our Search Everywhere Optimisation approach addresses both simultaneously.
Do I need a big website or large business to benefit from SEO?
Not at all. We work with businesses ranging from ambitious local NZ brands to large international organisations. The strategy scales to your market, competition, and commercial goals. What matters is that there’s a genuine opportunity to grow visibility and convert that into revenue. In fact, smaller businesses often have more to gain from SEO than from paid advertising, because organic visibility compounds over time and doesn’t require ongoing spend to maintain.
How do you measure success in AI search when there’s no “ranking” to track?
You’re right that traditional rank tracking doesn’t apply to AI results. AI responses are conversational, variable, and don’t have fixed positions. The metrics that matter instead are: citation frequency (how often AI platforms mention your brand for relevant queries), AI share of voice against competitors, referral traffic from AI platforms, and branded search volume growth as a proxy for awareness.
How much does SEO cost, and how do I know if it’s worth it?
Investment varies depending on the scale of the opportunity, the competitiveness of your market, and the scope of work required. We don’t offer one-size packages. Pricing is determined through our discovery and workshop process once we understand your business and goals properly. On the question of whether it’s worth it: we use bespoke ROI calculators in our strategy presentations so you can see projected returns based on your specific market and conversion data. The goal is always to model the commercial case clearly before you commit.
We’ve tried SEO before and didn’t see results. Why would this be different?
This is one of the most common conversations we have. In most cases, the issues come down to one of three things: a lack of genuine strategy (activity without a clear commercial objective), inadequate team depth (one person trying to cover technical, content, and off-page work simultaneously), or poor reporting that made it impossible to understand what was actually happening. We address all three by design. Before we recommend a single tactic, we run a full audit, map the opportunity, and present a strategy tied to your specific business goals — with ROI projections you can interrogate. Then we show you exactly what we’re doing, every week, in a shared workbook.
